Colouring Technique

The coloring technique is the one of hundred sophisticated things in sequential art, maybe this is look simple to somebody, but it really difficult to do.

The picture above is taken from naruto serial manga, one of famous manga in japan, and whole world, the original picture is still grayscale (black n white), fresh from penciling / sketcher, then i start with inker job (to bolding sketch scratch into cleaner line), the last i do coloring.

The colour is matched from the real reference from manga, i used to resample the pallette with adobe PS3 from manga to project picture. To make better, i give some light leveling (some part darker, the other lighten).
